Big Barn was historically a very unsexy milking barn, until Caroline got her creative hands on it in 2006, it has evolved! the budget well and truly blown! Caroline's vision to create a fun, flexible, eclectic, luxurious, safe and sassy space for partying, relaxing, and playing, and very much for all age groups, has been hugely successful. Big Barn has got wow with a capital W! Rustic, chic, contemporary and family friendly, with plenty of entertainment on site.

Big Barn is set in the most idyllic location within the grounds of Caroline's home, Larcombe Farm, where there always seems to be magic in the air. We know you will be spoilt for choice, whether it is hurling back the carpets and rocking the night away, or sleeping late, pub lunches in front of roaring fires after long hearty walks in this glorious countryside, exhausted after lazy days at the beach, barbecues on the terrace, games in the games room, fights for table tennis supremacy, an abundance of exceptional restaurants for foodies, what more could you want on an English summer or winter holiday?

Long lists of equipment, a 22 metre open-plan kitchen/dining living space, which provides both maximum sociability and high visibility for parents of toddlers and crawlers. Great music systems, gargantuan wide screen television, family dvd selection, if all this fails to entertain, the games room, a stone’s throw across the terrace, has more - toys for old and young, pool table, table tennis, piano, boules and darts.

The mown meadow, provides plenty of freedom for ball games and running wild, there is also a TP swing set and seesaw for younger children, alternatively walk for miles in wonderful private, unspoilt rolling countryside find magical medieval woods with exciting nooks and crannies to explore.

Waters edge restaurants and good local Pubs noted for their great food, strong ales and wonderful hospitality.

    enclosure is provided in an adjacent barn where pets can be left when guests are
    visiting. Some beaches don't allow dogs in the summer.

Events

Big Barn can facilitate parties of up to 50 people, we have had a number of very successful events and celebrations, please call us for further information.

Eco Policy

We provide guests with the resources to recycle, we provide coloured bin liners and labelled bins, glass recycling sites can be found locally.
